Block B (블락비) adalah Boy Band Korea Selatan yang diciptakan oleh penyanyi hip hip Cho PD dibawah manajemen label Brand New Stardom Entertainment. Pada bulan Februari 2011, Cho PD mengumumkan bahwa ia sedang membuat proyek musik yang diberi nama "Korea's Eminem Project" untuk membentuk sebuah group hip hop yang diberi nama Block Buster (Block B), proyek ini dikabarkan menghabiskan dana sebesar $ 1.400.000 USD.

Pembuatan group hip hop ini dibantu dan dibimbing oleh para pentolan hip hop Korea diantaranya Verbal Jint, Skull, dan Rhymer. Mereka bersama-sama melakukan training dan olah skill masing-masing anggota Block B yang terdiri dari 7 orang yaitu Zico (Woo Jiho), Lee Taeil, B-Bomb (Lee Minhyuk), Ahn Jaehyo, U-Kwon (Kim Yukwon), Park Kyung, dan P.O (Pyo Jihoon).

Pada 13 April 2011 Block memulai debutnya dengan merilis single lagu berjudul "Freeze!", namun lagu ini menuai protes dari Komisi Perlindungan Pemuda Korea karena dinilai terlalu berani dan dewasa, sehingga tidak bisa ditayangkan sebelum pukul 10.00 malam waktu Korea dan tidak bisa dijual kepada anak dibawah usia 19 tahun. Karena alasan tersebut Block B kemudian memilih single baru berjudul "Wanna B" dan mereka tampil live di KBS Music Bank pada tanggal 15 April 2011 dan selanjutnya di SBS Inkigayo. Mini album pertama Block B berjudul New Kids on the Block dan dirilis pada 23 Juni 2011.
